Hi, I am a veteran who has gotten plenty of high quality medical care here. The Veteran Administration system has lots of different types of health care providers here. Most have given me excellent care. They are very knowledgeable, courteous and caring. Many have gone out of their way to make sure I am taken care of.

If I die in my sleep, it's because the ER sent me home prematurely. I go to the ER with elevated blood pressure that took hours to bring down. The second it hit normal, I had discharge papers and a big NO that I couldn't be monitored overnight. I was told: I need to monitor my own health I was not critical enough to be admitted, BP was at one point 193/98 My magnesium levels may have something to do with it I was not offered a wheel chair, even with complaints of nausea and dizziness I was given a soggy sandwich after hours of laying in the ER I was told to call 911 if I felt bad again Never have I ever been treated like this at a VA facility. It's a sad day when veterans are disrespected and disregarded in their own hospital

This is by far the worst va system I've had to deal with. Their motto should be "do as little as possible while making it was difficult and take as long as possible to do anything, until they give up or kill themselves."

I've been been getting medical care from the Department of Veterans Affairs for almost 20 years. Dr. Yang is awesome. God Bless. Really appreciate not have to plead so hard for care. I did have a to just a tad. However I still rate at a 10 out 10. I REALLY was in desperate need of a break and a reprieve with the V.A. I've been been to 38 other VA healthcare systems seeking decent care. Praying the specialist he sent me to actually see me and do not cancel the consults before even speaking to my (like some VA do)

I've tried since July to schedule a mental health appointment. Once in July and once in August I called central scheduling, and after waiting on hold for 20+ minutes both times I was told a request would be sent to my local VA clinic and someone would call to schedule an appointment. Both times I have not received a phone call. Today, calling for the third time for a mental health appointment, I was on hold with central scheduling: 'we are currently experiencing higher than normal call volume. Your expected wait time is *15 minutes...*12 minutes...*6 minutes...*1 minute...*click', phone hangs up. Called back: 'Your expected wait time is *15 minutes...*12 minutes...*6 minutes...*1 minute...*click, phone hangs up. Thank goodness I'm not having a crisis.
