Hello Patty,Thank you for sharing your negative experience with us but, I wish that you had contacted me directly to discuss this issue first, rather than degrade our public rating without an opportunity for explanation.Unfortunately, COVID-19 didn't just slow things down for us as a company, it nearly grinded us down to a complete halt. Between the months of November and December every single one of our field service employees caught COVID-19, most with severe symptoms which, rightfully, required the team member taking time off to recuperate. To fight the halt of our field operations, all our office and managerial staff were shifted into the field to replace the field service employees that were unable to work due to COVID-19. This shift resulted in a seamless experience to our existing customer base but did not provide the best experience for any new customers seeking our assistance.Between the months of December and January, every single one of our office and managerial staff caught COVID-19, including myself. Again, most cases presented severe symptoms which required the team member to take time off to recuperate. Fully vaccinated, I spent five straight days in bed with a fever over 103 degrees, chills, body aches, and other symptoms I do not care to share. Personally, there is no way that I would be able to rightfully expect any one of my team members to be able to function in a competent manner experiencing the same symptoms.My team at Pooltastic strives to beat, but at the absolute least, meet your expectations of us as a small business that provides exceptional pool service. After much research into this matter, I agree with you that we missed the mark. Given the unprecedented situation that COVID-19 has put upon small businesses like mine, we should have advised you that we weren’t able to accept any new work as we were coping with COVID-19 spreading throughout my company. We have learned from this mistake and have adjusted our operations to ensure that this situation, hopefully, never happens again.
