PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio

I would definitely recommend P.A.M if you are looking for wound care treatment outside of the hospital. Adrienne, John, and Ricky did a great job getting me back on my feet in a quick and timely manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is having wound care issues. There nursing staff was also great. I would like to thank the whole P.A.M staff for providing legendary service.

This is Mark Acuna and I was at this facility for 29 days. The wound care staff were so professional but yet down to earth which made such a great experience. They took time to make conversations and made me feel at ease. This staff is such a valuable asset to this facility. Thank you to the wound staff!

I was transferred here from a local hospital in order to get rehab for a fracture to my ankle. Its considered an LTAC facility. Unfortunately it is by far the worst experience Ive ever had to deal with; all the way from the doctors to the nurses. I was literally left in my room all day and saw my nurses no more than med pass or if I called for them. The charge nurse, Oscar who works nights has the most unprofessional work ethic and will accuse you and talk about you to other staff members when he thinks you cant hear him. Their vocabulary mostly consist of cursing and talking about unrelated topics to what theyre supposed to be doing. The entire time I was there, I received almost no therapy for my ankle and more time trying to get the care I deserved. Please avoid this faculty at all costs. . If youre being referred to an LTAC facility, steer clear of this place! It should be shut down permanently.

Pam on 1604 is the worse place to take your love one. I could put why but I wouldn't have enough space to write of ALL the wrong things they do and their manners. PLEASE, don't take your love one there.

Overall I never got clear communication. They never made us gown up knowing my mom was contagious. I asked for certain tests to be done and they never listened or called not even a physician. My mom would be screaming in pain due to her condition and they just acted like she was crazy. I cant go into much detail without just being extremely upset. The nurses would talk so badly and you could hear them. I feel like my mom may have had a chance to live if she had been placed in better hands but they neglected her didnt even do the tests they were supposed to and a nutritionist never called till right before she back to the hospital to be put in ICU and by then her infection spread more and went to her spine. Very sad. My mom spent over 45 years saving lives and serving as a nurse only to be treated badly and neglected.i forgot to add when my mom got readmitted she was filthy and the nurses in icu bathed her I never saw her once get cleaned up at Pam or even her hair fixed. She deteriorated so badly there and this was just a few months ago so please if you love your friends and family dont send them here unless you never want to see them again.
