WoodSpring Suites San Antonio UTSA - Medical Center

I have been staying here for a few months and it's been wonderful cindy and alex are great the whole staff and cleaning service are so nice; the area is secure and clean I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay (it's dog friendly and there's also a gym next to the vending machines towards the back entrance) it also has a laundry; the location is perfect and you wouldnt regret it - its near the post office a wal mart, sams club, many restaurants

great place to stay the location is awesome I highly recommend you to check it out - the whole staff is nice and so are the housekeepers they keep this whole place clean

DONT STAY HERE. Honestly Im shocked. Yes its great that you get a kitchen in the rooms but you have to bring practically your whole kitchen just to use it. They dont offer anything not even utensils. As for the rooms the bed was so uncomfortable mine and my fiancs backs and hips were killing us because of the beds. We were on the first floor and u can hear everything from the room above. Disgustingly we could hear the people above us use the restroom ( and I dont mean just the flushing) I mean you could hear everything. The bathtub doesnt drain so u have to stand in the dirty water while you shower and if you take to long of one your then standing in a bath. They also like to state that the are pet friendly when they are not. Last and definitely not least, they have a mandatory cleaning every Monday that you cant refuse. You are expected to leave your things in the hotel room while strangers come in and hope they dont take things while they clean. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Noteworthy details: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

I travel constantly for work and had to book a long stay here. Overall it was a good experience the first couple weeks, but one night after work I saw three bed bugs on the headboard above the bed. With how much I travel, I inevitably run into issues like this no matter where I stay, but Ive never had a hotel flat out refuse to let me switch rooms when an issue of bugs or cleanliness arose. This happened late at night and I ended up having to book another hotel last minute, eating a hefty cost for such a last minute booking. It was also extremely difficult to get my remaining nights fully refunded as the hotel was initially only offered a 50% refund for my remaining stay. The front desk associate was very dismissive and unsympathetic in their attitude towards the situation. I understand companies dont often give their employees the tools to fully help every situation, but attitude goes a long way. The hotel wasnt fully booked, and told me that they would block my reservation if I tried to book a different room (which I only considered to avoid having to pack up and switch hotels after midnight). So overall started as a pleasant stay, but had the worst handling of a very common situation with hotels Ive ever experienced. If you dont run into issues, youll probably have a good stay. If you do, just know they wont be helpful in a resolution. Wished I got good photos before squashing the bed bugs, but included a couple nonetheless.
