Capital One Bank - CLOSED

I just started banking with Cap One. Their branches are notoriously far apart. I had to go 6 miles.

Refused to take my money and put it in my account.

Well, I've been a relatively happy customer of this bank for years. Last evening I made a cash deposit through the automated teller (which will NEVER EVER occur again...) which it retained, and then basically shut down. It did return my card, but did not process a receipt, nor was the deposit reflected in my balance. I called the 800 number, and filed a claim but was told it could take TEN 10 BUSINESS DAYS for the money to be posted to my account temporarily, AND it could take up for FORTY FIVE 45 DAYS to RESOLVE the issue. This is basic theft, in my opinion. How does a bank get to keep my money for up to ten days? BECAUSE THEIR EQUIPMENT doesn't function properly? As for the branch, I stopped in this morning to inquire and really all I received were "we're sorry". Sorry doesn't help me recover my deposit. I am so upset about this incident that once resolved, I will be closing my account. I have otherwise enjoyed my relationship with this bank, but this is unforgivable, and outrageous. Worse yet, I'll post it on my social media accounts as well. Right now, I'd give 0 stars, if I could, but 1 is the minimum I can do for this to post as a review...

They are so friendly and I feel like its more for this generation they explained it really well for a beginner wanting to get a debt card and its all on my phone and so easy to use my friend recommended mi and I love it thank you capital one bank
