    I have been banking here for almost 10 years. Mrs. Debbie has always been great. HOWEVER, The new front office staff is absolutely rude and unprofessional. I was involved in a major accident on Fathers Day that resulted me having to be in the hospital and miss quite a bit of work. Knowing that I had one more payment on my loan but wouldnt be able to make it until the 19th of this month, I called in and spoke to Raelin about 2.5 weeks prior to 7/17/2023 and She assured me my account would be fine until 7/19/2023 when I could pay the last payment. Today I was sent some money since times have been hard since the accident, I deposited it into my account, card declines. Called and Raelyn answered again and said her or Mrs. Debbie would call me back. Never got a call and day was nearing an end so I called up and Raelyn answered again and told me my account is in delinquent status since its passed due. When I explained to Raelyn that this was extremely upsetting bc she herself told me I was fine being that I would only be one day passed the 30 days and now the only money I had to last me until Wednesday is locked and since she didnt call me back, everyone in the office was already gone for the day. She then cut me off, put me on hold, and was sending me through the cue the other two times I tried to call back. She also tried to tell me before even looking into my account what my issues was and tried to just brush me off without even verifying any information. Come Wednesday I will be making my last payment and canceling my account.

We are a small credit union with limited staff so it hard to provide adequate coverage in the office on Saturdays. However, we always try to work with our members to help find alternate solutions so that we can can provide an excellent member service experience. If you are a member of our credit union, please call me directly so that we can discuss options that are available. You might be surprised to know how much we can do for you without a trip to the branch. You can reach me at 281.964.1764.I was not able to identify you within our membership so I assume that you might be a member of a different credit union. If that is the case, I am guessing that you are using our branch as a part of the Co-op Shared Branching network. If you are not a member of our credit union, please reach out to your credit union directly. I feel confident that they would be glad to assist you.

I am sorry that there was a misunderstanding about your loan. After reviewing your account, I see where you contacted the credit union after your accident and requested that we reverse your June payment. This transaction was completed on the 16th of June and the funds were deposited into your credit union account so that you could have access to the funds. Since we reversed your June payment your loan is now over 30 days delinquent which is why the transaction on your card was declined. I instructed Raylynn to inform you that we could manually release the funds at the credit union office and allow you to pay the payment later this week which I hope will help you. I know you were upset which is why Raylynn was trying to transfer you to a supervisor. The supervisor was on another call, so she missed your call and she stated that she never received a voicemail from you. Your loan was never in collection as it was noted that you would be making your June payment in July; however, the card is automatically blocked after day 30. I did send an email out to the staff as a reminder that cards are blocked when a loan becomes over 30 days delinquent. Hopefully, this will prevent any confusion in the future. I apologize if this information was not communicated clearly to you at the time we reversed your June payments.
