Please rethink your choice of installing a trailer hitch at the U-haul, location 11300 Beltway 8. I write this because not only is the General Manager/Installer unprofessional he risked our safety by the faulty installation of our trailer hitch and its wiring. We had several near misses on highway 6 and highway 69 due to the General manager reversing the wiring so left car blinker was connected to trailer's right blinker and right car blinker was connected to trailer's left blinker. This faulty installation compromised our safety and was one of three attempts to get the installation done correctly. The General manager when approached by and documented by another U-haul location was unwilling to take responsibility for his poor workmanship such as fender scratches, cracked taillight, etc. His solution to the complaint was to hang up on us. He claimed all damage was there before the installation which was false. I brought in a new car that had about 3800 miles on it at the time of installation!!! I have had to refer this matter to headquarters because of his unprofessional demeanor and have had to have the other U-haul location repair his work. If you take pride in your car and value your safety DO NOT allow them to work on your car.
