Rooms were nasty and filthy. Trash was everywhere outside . It was so bad that i checked out immediately. I was not refunded any money either.

THIS WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACES IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. THE PROPERTY WAS FILTHY!! TOILET HAD STAINS AROUND THE BOWL. SHEETS WERE GRAYISH YELLOW NEED TO BE CHANGED IMMEDIATELY. THE TOWELS LOOKED LIKE DISH RAGS OR SOMETHING YOU CLEAN YOUR CAR WITH. THEY WERE JUST UGLY AND DINGY. AROUND THE TOILET WAS BUILT UP DUST THAT HASNT BEEN CLEAN IN A WHILE. THE CARPET STUNK SMELLS LIKE MILDEW AND DIRT. THE TELEVISION DID NOT SHOW A CLEAR PICTURE. THE PILLOWS WERE LITTLE WITH YELLOW PILLOW CASES. THE SHOWER WALL HAD RUST HAIR AROUND THE SHOWER. MY ROOM DOOR SEEMED AS IF IT WAS BROKE INTO BEFORE NOT A COMPLETE SEAL. THE CURTAINS AND THE ROD LOOKED AS THOUGH IT WOULD FALL IF YOU MOVED IT IN ANY DIRECTION. I WAS CONSIDERING STAYING FOR THE 1 NIGHT DUE TO MY FATIGUE. I COULD NOT DO IT AND IMMEDIATELY ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK. THE LADY WHO DID NOT PROVIDE ME WITH HER NAME WOULD NOT PROVIDE ME A REFUND. I REPEATEDLY DEMANDED A REFUND SHE REFUSED AND TRIED TO OFFER ME ANOTHER ROOM. DUE TO MY FATIGUE I ASKED FOR CLEAN TOWELS TO MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO STAY. I WAS NOT OFFERED NEW TOWELS NOR SHEETS NO HOUSEKEEPER ON DUTY. I THEN REQUEST A REFUND AGAIN I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT GET A REFUND. THE LADY WALKED BACK TO THE ROOM AND NOTICE I HAD A VALID CLAIM AND REFUSE TO STAY. SHE THEN TOLD ME SHE WOULD REFUND MY MONEY. BY THE TIME WE MADE IT BACK TO THE FRONT DESK SHE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME SHE CANT GIVE A REFUND BUT OFFERED A NEW ROOM. I TOLD HER OVER AND OVER I WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE TORN DOWN BY THE CITY OF HOUSTON. I DEEMED IT NOT SAFE, FILTHY, DISGUSTING PITIFUL AND SAD. I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION LET ALONG ANY TRAVELODGE. IM STILL WAITING ON MY REFUND. DO NOT ALLOW YOU OR YOUR LOVE ONES TO STAY AT THIS LOCATION. IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I WOULDNT EVEN LET MY DOG SLEEP IN THOSE BEDS. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. NEVER EVER EVER WILL I RETURN. JUST AWFUL. Just upset I couldn't provide pictures. I just wanted to leave and I did exactly that! Just a horrible experience

Okay so I called them made a reservation and no I didn't check the reviews because I was caught between a rock and a hard place I had rented a moving truck and it wasn't ready so I had to find a place to stay for the night that was unplanned. Now when I made the reservation they sounded so friendly and so full of customer service and professionalism I was very happy with making the reservation. But I walked here for about a mile because I'm too cheap to call an Uber just to go on my own and I can use the exercise. I get here and it's starting to rain and they don't let anybody in the lobby and I have to wait another hour to be able to check in. I have never been to any hotel or a motel and the like where there was no place for customers to be able to wait. This is ridiculous and now I'm very concerned what kind of establishment this is. Are they scared of something am I safe here? You know their sign reads Howard Johnson on one end and then it's the Travelodge by Wyndham both Howard Johnson and Wyndham are very reputable companies if I were them I would remove their name from this establishment because it is a far cry from any Howard Johnson or Windham establishment that I know of. I can't make a comment about the room or anything like that because I haven't checked in yet however I am dreading it.
