I havent had many issues with living here the last 4 months but my upstairs neighbor is incredibly loud all hours of the night and I havent been able to reach anyone in the office to file a complaint. The amenities are okay but not thrilled about them being shared by surrounding communities so everything is almost always too packed to comfortably use. Most of the elevators are broken off and on, also virtually zero guest parking. And since inclement weather in January, the fire alarm keeps randomly going off. I work from home so this is really inconvenient as its loud and continuous for almost an hour sometimes. Sometimes it goes off in the middle of the night which can be scary. I like the location and apartment style but I will probably not be renewing my lease. I honestly would not recommend.

Our experience while looking for a home at the Maxwell was very good. We visited twice and during both visits Nancy Zarco assisted us. She was very helpful and ready to clarify all of our questions and to take us to every part of the community. During the first visit we saw 3 different apartments and she was very patient and show all the details to us. Even better, she replied to every email I sent with questions and were very present during all the process. Only thing to point out is that we have been told that if moving until a certain date, we would receive 500 dollars credit and we really considered that to move earlier than we want, but after we moved, they told us that the credit was only if we apply to the apartment 48 hours after the visit, which we were not told about before, so it is a bit frustrating.
We have been living at the Maxwell for almost 3 weeks and we are enjoying a lot! All the staff are very kind and helpful, building is always clean!
Updating- moving to 5 stars because the manager called me and resolved the issue of the $ 500 credit. She was very kind and prompt to help

The place looks luxury but the main elevator 3 is always broke. I have been here since November 2022 and 50% of my lease term the elevator has been broken. This place is not reliable and the staff doesnt even try to provide a reasonable solution to the issue. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

UPDATE: 11/5/23
My husband and I left this apartment before our lease was up in the summer because we felt it was longer a safe space. We had 3+ incidents that either involved the police, intoxicated people, or something that was plain strange/freaky.
I still give The Maxwell 2 stars because of their pool and gym-despite that we were a decent walk away. They were clean and always well kept. The pool in the summer can get a little interesting- everyone decides to bring their speakers and play different genres of music all at the same time in different parts.
Tina was great, but I felt that with some problems we never got them resolved. Including the WIFI in the club spaces and constant outage of elevators near our unit.
Apt. life team at the time was sweet, but did the bare minimum for events and didn't reach out often. What is the point of a Apt. life team then...
Lastly, and I really am not giving poor reviews, but when we moved out- we left the place fairly clean. I will admit it wasn't perfection, but it was very clean and we did what we were told to do. However, we still got charged for things that felt ridiculous.
We are happy to say we found another Gables Apt. complex and hope that it goes better than our last year at The Maxwell..

The Maxwell is close to the DNT and Sam Rayburn Hwy, but there is so much to do and see near by. Legacy West Grandscape.
Location is not the only good thing though, their amenities like the pool and the gym are in prime condition. My husband and I hit the pool every week sometimes more in this TX heat!
We are close by so much, and have made friends through our Apartment Life Team too! They make it fun for us to know our neighbors and feel like a family rather than neighbors!
We love where we are & especially the elevators too! Makes for an easy move!
I cant not recommend the Maxwell to anyone who is moving to Frisco! Come be apart of the fam!
