Wedgewood Nursing Home

I went and Toured the facility looking for place to put my sister in. It was clean and didn't smell. The two receptionists I met were very professional / helpful. Alisha who I needed to talk to, doesn't return calls to individuals or to hospitals. Also, I was told she doesn't go into the facility that often. I had to call the receptionist and advised her that she wasn't returning the calls to the hospital or to me. Not good business!

I went in to deliver to a patient and it is absolutely abhorrent in there. I had a mask on and could still smell the stench of urine. No kind of circulation of air to make it less noticeable either. The orderlys or whatever you call them (at night) just sat at the desk chatting it up. Meanwhile there were several patient call lights on. The two nurses looked way overworked. Get your facility together!!!

My grandfather was sent to this place and was only there a week. In a week he was Abused and Neglected on several different occasions. He came out of this place worse then he came in, Nurses asleep on the job and ignoreng call lights, please for your loved ones sake DO NOT send them to Wedgewood Rehab and nursing center.
