Holiday Inn Fort Worth North-Fossil Creek, an IHG Hotel

Good morning Ms. Angie LopezThank you for choosing Holiday Inn and for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience at Holiday Inn FORT WORTH NORTH-FOSSIL CREEK. I would like to start by apologizing to you for the inconveniences you faced during your stay. I would like to explain a few things just for your piece of mind. When this reservation was booked, Expedia oversold our hotel! We had no rooms available but were trying to accommodate the stays that were oversold per third party reservations. You are correct, the floor that you were placed on is our floor that is still under current renovations. Again, us trying to accommodate Expedia, this was our only option other than to cancel your reservation without notice the day of. (You were not the only one who ran into this issue.)When asked for a refund the day of, my front desk agents are not allowed to do so. There are steps that we do have to make, especially with third party reservations.After everything was sent to myself, I did issue that refund. I do apologize that it may have been a few days delayed but again, I needed documentation before I could do so. We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we appreciate that you brought your experience to our attention. We take feedback seriously and will coach our team to make the necessary changes so we can provide a better experience in the future. I hope you will give us a chance by staying with us again to show you that your unsatisfactory stay was an exception.
