Pros: its new. Its the best SpringHill suites Ive stayed in. The restaurant at the top is nice. Cons: breakfast is meh. As Marriott gold member zero perks at all including no late checkout. Last but not least is the tiny shower head. Its hilarious. It shoots out a stream equivalent to the hose coming off your house. Also, nowhere to get decent espresso-based coffee anywhere in this hotel.

One issue with the building: The parking lot in the back can be accessed either from the entrance on Main Street, or NW 23rd St. From the parking lot, customers need to walk to either ends of the long building which does not have door entries in the middle. Loading and unloading luggage would be quite a challenge to walk a whole block (at most half length of the building, plus another half to the elevator). It used to be a bank building. Closer to Historic Stockyards, about 10 minutes walk. It is a little bit older Marriott, comparing to the newly built Hotel Drover, Autograph Collection (which is even closer to East Exchange Avenue, where has Twice Daily Cattle Drive, 11:30 AM and 4 PM). Rooftop and higher levels have view to the city but not much to see. The breakfast is normal and the hotel restaurant (Atico) seems quite decent. Room is large, split by an office/den area (with long sofa) and bedroom. The washroom and bathroom are large and together with a slide door accessible to bedroom. Other than that, there are enough power socket and USB charging ports in bedroom and on office desk. No night light, instead having to open the curtain; otherwise, the bathroom light would be turned off automatically (after a while) and keeping on entrance light would be too bright for sleep.
