image I recently went to the Emergency Room and Presbyterian Hospital with shingles that involved my face and eye. Although having shingles is no fun, the experience in the ER could not have been better. The entire team was friendly and professional. Dr. Gregory Roslund was excellent -very thorough, knowledgably, and empathetic. The nurse, Evan, was also helpful and attentive during my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Roslund and his team at Presbyterian. Thank you!

image This is one of the worst experiences I've had at a hospital. I was in the emergency room #16.First I needed to have my IV moved up to be able to have a CAT scan with contrast. Nobody came to change it. I called to have my nurse come talk to me because I was throwing up and I had not previously been. Didn't get my nurse even though they said that they were going to him. Call the second time and luckily my nurse Scott was right there and heard me so he came and helped me. Finally after all of my tests were done Dr Tran, just walked in my room and said you have a blood clot in the right side of your lung I'm not going to even look at the scans of your neck because I have a diagnosis. Then told me that they were admitting me and that the admitting doctor would let me know more. I don't know who the admitting and I have to wait until well after 8:00 on the main floor until a doctor gets around to my room. I am not hooked up to any machines I don't have a constant fluid or anything like that going. I have no idea how severe my blood clot is. I don't know if I'm allowed to eat I don't know if I'm allowed to have bigger glasses of water. I have been stuck in a back room on the main floor and been left alone. If my pulmonary embolism decided to kill me it would be hours before somebody found me. For an accredited chest pain hospital or just a hospital in general this is very poor poor decision-making and irresponsibility. If something happens to me and I cannot get to my call button who's going to help me just whenever the doctors wander in sometime in the next 4 to 6 hours?! Ridiculous!! If it wasn't for some of the nurses on previous experiences I would say this is the crappiest hospital I have been to. The fact that they allow doctors to give half answered diagnosis and leave the patient and family members wondering how serious just shows that they don't care about the patients.

image trash. the "doctor" said no when I asked for a full-body exam after going through traumatic experience. $3000 wasted.

image So I went to this ER this morning around 2:30am or so. I was having an asthma attack and really bad chest pains. The process was pretty quick. The lady checked me in at the front was very nice. However her big boned friend who came to do my vitals had something to say about me saying that i was having an asthma attack and proceeded to walk out of room 2 behind the check in desk to say..I dont think that she is having an asthma attack it sounds like a cold .maam i know for sure its not protocol to be discussing patient information out loud for others to hear and furthermore its not your place to diagnose me. And coming from someone who has been diagnosed with asthma and has had an attack before..i know one when i feel one.
Anywayy I still give them a 4 star because the attending nurse and the physician Mark Till were really nice and helpful. Even The radiology reconfirm that came to give me a breathing treatment was really nice. They all apologized for having me wait which wasnt really long.
A life saver
