Emergency Room (ER) at Baylor University Medical Center, Part of Baylor Scott & White Health

Went here for an emergency and the doctor discharged me with a lie and the nurse who gave me my paper work didnt even have enough sense to make sure I changed out the hospital gown in privacy. Worst experience ever! They dont care they just try to get rid of you!

If I could write them less than one I would. We waited six and a half hours and finally left because they were helping all the black people and not any white people. There I said it Dallas has always been super prejudiced blacks to whites.

Worst experience ever came in at 1pm with shortness of breath and chest pain was told I was admitted by the registration people about 8pm not the doctor no rooms so I'm stuck on a transport bed with no real bedding no pillow no real food and no real pain medication but I will bet they charge my insurance for full cost of admission I will never come back here only up side my nurse was nice I wouldn't send my dog here they don't answer call lights they just turn them off staff was loud and cussing all night and laughing no rest at all

I was nervous after reading the other reviews. But I had to go to the closest e.r because I cut my hand badly. I got here no smell of pee as claimed. The lady's at the front desk were pretty nice. I give it an hour before I got to the back in a room. LOOK SOME FOLKS THINK THE WORLD BELONGS TO THEM. AND FEEL LIKE WHEN THEY WALK IN TO AN E.R ITS SUPPOSED TO STOP FOR THEM. THIS E.R IS JUST THE SAME AS ALL E.R'S I'VE BEEN TOO. The wait time is going to be a couple to a few hours no matter where you go.

This is something that is to a certain extent inhumane and negligent with the health of patients... I have been in the emergency room for 12 hours due to an apparent intestinal obstruction. I arrived at 2 in the afternoon and since that time they have not given me any pain medication, at 8 at night they give me a tomography and at 9 at night all the results were on the desk of the doctor on duty, 11 at night there were two people in front of me to be seen by the doctor and at this time 1:30 am the doctor has still not called me or given me pain medication...there are patients literally lying on the floor... never in my life have I seen a Hospital as bad and inhumane as Baylor University Emergency Hospital in Dallas TX if you live in this area of Dallas PLEASE NEVER COME HERE
