Budget Car Rental

Absolute nightmare! Pick up took two hours, didnt get the SUV we reserved and paid for. Car had service lights on and on the way to the airport we filled it up with gas and the battery went dead! Had to purchase jumper cables and of course couldnt take them on our flight so had to trash em. Terrible customer service!

Did not refund my money from early return. I prepaid, apparently refund rules give Budget the right to steal my money.

Only one counter serving 200 ppl an the eve of Presidents Day long weekend.. took 3 hrs to get a car.. something should improve here..

Made about 8 calls to their 800# to extend my reservation. No one was able to help me and the last few told me to call the location directly. No one had the phone number for the location and it was not printed anywhere on any of the rental documentation I received when I picked up the vehicle. I did an internet search for the phone number and that was almost impossible. Eventually, I was able to find a phone number that was supposed to be the direct number to the location but of course, when I called the supposed local number it brought me back to the 800#. The entire exercise was frustrating and a waste of time. I ended up having to drive back to the airport in order to speak to a person. Absolutely the most ridiculous process!! The workers at the location (DFW airport) were wonderful! They were pleasant, professional, and friendly. The Budget process of extending a reservation, and getting a working direct phone number to speak to someone at the rental location needs a LOT of work ... A LOT !!!
