Front doors are now operated by a digital keyless entry. I now need to make ANOTHER DIGITAL ACCOUNT TO OPEN MY OWN FRONT DOOR. Thin walls. Can hear everything from low talking to screaming kids and loud tv's and basketball games and music right outside the window in the driveways at night. Rent far too expensive and constantly rising. Front door is now operated remotely which is terrifying. Thermostat looks like it has a camera in it. Zero stars if i could. Do not move in.

Patsi is incredible. She goes above and beyond with everything she does. Her humor always brightens the day. Very thankful for her. We have enjoyed living at Premier at Prestonwood because of the staff working on site.

BEWARE: As awareness, this review is being provided because I received an unfavorable outcome from a situation I had no control over. I applied and was approved to lease at Premier on Prestonwood in February 2024. I went to see my unit 3 weeks prior to my move- in date and it was shown to me in a complete disgusting state ( dirty clothes, tampon wrappers, food waste). I was working with a office member who left the company the following week and her emails were not forwarded to management. Therefore, I returned to the property to determine what had been done with the apartment. The office manager, Patsi, then explained that the apartment was ready for move-in but it had been recently broken into by a squatter/unhoused person. Patsi reassured me that this happens quite often in "her" world. I took that to mean at Premier on Prestonwood. I was no longer comfortable to move into the property and advised Patsi via email. I requested a refund for all my funds but the management company only refunded my deposit, which was expedited. Due to the circumstances, I believe the admin and application fee should be refunded as well. Please exercise caution before applying to this property. It is not gated, does not have security, and is clearly being targeted.

This was originally a decently affordable place with good accessibility to many nearby areas in Dallas, but the recent price increases have changed this after new ownership. For a one bedroom, the rent has increased from $1500 in 2022 to $1900 in 2024, this includes pet rent, washer/dryer, and their other "fees". During this time, the only worthwhile upgrades have been a package locker which isn't even used by most delivery services (Amazon). I also didn't even notice they "remodeled" the gym. The new "Quext" thermostat and smart lock devices are extremely bad, especially the thermostat which works half the time. There's no physical key to get in your unit and instead you must rely on using your phone or typing in a code on the lock's screen. The app reviews on the google/apple store speak for themselves. The location isn't that great either considering there's no easy way to escape from vehicles here. The entire complex is surrounded by parking lots - no sidewalks to be found. Walking across the Preston/Alexis intersection is also VERY sketchy during rush hour. Compare this to the great walkability of the Addison circle area which also has much better options for dining/bars. Overall an okay apartment complex, but the high rent isn't really worth it. My unit definitely shows its age and has poor sound isolation. The only benefit I liked from this place was the personal garage.
