Leander is going to be the new home for my daughter. The units are well layed out and the extras were a super cute bathroom decor/extras in the fridge (that go to the new occupants!) The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Just got the process started and excited for move in.

Im a cancer patient and Ive been going through a little rough patch, but the style in the office has been awesome towards me. They are very understanding, compassionate people. Amy is the best shes always there to listen, and she always ask how I am doing. This is the best apartment complex I ever stayed, so if you guys are looking for us a place to call home with excellent staff Heres your place come on down because they are welcome. You open arms.

It's a very nice place, I have been researching apartments in the area and found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful (Thank you Gina! Sorry, if the name is incorrect) I believe they have new management or new owners because you can see a lot of newer improvements. I really like the pool, hope to be grilling out there soon!

Absolute worst apartment complex I've ever lived at. I honestly don't even know where to start. I moved in November of 2023. JoAnn and Yolanda worked in the office, and the moving in process was great. I have nothing, but great things to say about them. However, from the day I moved in until about 3 weeks ago, I have had no hot water. Within the past 3 months, I have only had consistent hot water for 3 weeks now. Also, I had a huge water leak in my apartment (1 Bed 1 Bath) bathroom, which mildewed/molded the floor and wall of my bathroom and the floor (carpet) of my closet. They sent out carpenters, I'm assuming, which pulled up the padding from my closet, and left industrial fans in my apartment over the weekend to dry it out. My bathroom and closet has smelled like mildew ever since, and they have yet to come in and redo my bathroom floors. On December 12, 2023, Brazos Residential took over the property, and pushed out JoAnn and Yolanda. I saw that they were making efforts to fix the water issue, and so far they have. But then, on January 15, 2024, my car was STOLEN from the property. Following that, from day one of my move in, I could hear scratching noises on my ceiling, but I assumed that my upstairs neighbors had a dog this entire time. Until approximately 2 weeks ago, when I met my upstairs neighbors, and they confirmed that they DO NOT have a dog. On January 17th, I walked outside of my apartment to go to work, and across from my door, in front of my neighbors door, was a dead RAT (picture included). I put 2 and 2 together, and realized that there are rats infested in the walls of my unit. On Saturday February 10, 2024, I went into the office and told the receptionist that I have rats. There were open holes in my bathroom from when the maintenance fixed my water leak in my bathroom, and a hole in the wall behind my washer and dryer, where JoAnn's husband had come to fix the hot water valve, because the apartments wouldn't send someone out to fix it. She told me that maintenance would be out of Monday, February 12, 2024 to come patch the holes. Maintenance did come on Monday morning, and patched the holes with drywall. They found more holes behind my oven and they patched those as well with drywall and caulk only. When I got home on Monday evening, there was rat poop in front of my oven that wasn't there that morning. Tuesday morning, February 13, 2024, while putting my dogs in their cage, I heard a gnawing noise coming from behind my oven. I screamed, and the rats began to SIMULTANEOUSLY SQUEAK behind my oven (I tried to upload the video, but it wouldn't allow me to). Myself and my dogs were freaking out. I rushed to the office before going to work, around 10 AM, and I told the receptionist, Maria, that I wanted out of my lease, and listed the reasons above. I had been more than lenient with them up to this point. She told me the property manager was in a meeting, but she would call me between 12:30 and 1 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. I went to work and awaited the property manager's call. When 1 PM rolled around, and I had heard NOTHING, I left work, and went back up to the office. Maria was sitting on her phone, watching a video when I arrived. I asked if the property manager was in the office, and she told me she would go get her. The property manager, followed by Maria, entered her office. I heard Maria whispering my situation to Denisa, the property manager. When Maria came out of the office, she proceeded to tell me that she was about to go on a video call, and was unavailable to talk. I asked her why she JUST THEN told the property manager about my situation. At that point, the property manager responded, from her office, not leaving her office during this entire conversation, that I could wait and it should be 15-30 minutes until she was done with her meeting. It was 1:30, and I waited in my car until 2 PM. At 2 PM, I reentered the office, and heard through the property managers door that she was still on her meeting. SO MUCH MORE BUT EXCEEDING MY CHARACTER LIMIT. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
