We just love our new swimming pool and our experience was wonderful! Shane was so helpful and patient with us when planning and we were so impressed with his knowledge of pools. He was honest and fair and we will recommend Capital Custom Pools to anyone looking for quality and excellent results!

I had built two pools and owned three others before I moved to Austin. I know enough about pools to make your head swim. :) When my pool in Cedar Park needed an update, I met with several pool builders to see who I believe knows their stuff and who doesn't. After a ten minute meeting I could tell Shane knows his stuff and doesn't try to push unnecessary work on a customer. As the work began, we discovered flaws in the original construction. Shane explained the issue clearly and quoted a very fair price to correct the original poor quality so the upgrade work could continue as planned. At the end of the project, another issue arose that was also related to poor quality in the original construction. Shane worked on that final issue to correct it even though it wasn't his fault and even though he had already been paid in full for the project. Capital Custom Pools is not one of those pool companies that will disappear once they get the final payment. They don't stop until the project is complete as agreed. This is such a tricky business and it's hard to know who to trust and who you shouldn't. In my opinion, Shane is someone you can trust to do the right job and do the job right.

This was the second pool I've had built and the experience was very good. Capital has a quality group of contractors that are closely supervised. There was close attention to detail and a positive and prompt response to questions and changes along the way. Capital took care of business and I believe the quality of both design and construction could not have been better.

After meeting with several pool builders and getting several quotes, my husband and I decided to go with Capital Custom Pools (Austin). Shane Pike, General Manager, met with us several times to review and refine our pool designs even before we signed a contract. The other companies were slow to get back with us and got frustrated because we didn’t make a decision on the spot. Shane did not. He understands that a pool is a huge investment and his main goal is for his customers to love their pool and for the process to go as smoothly as possible. He was very candid with us about what features he thought we needed or (more importantly) didn’t need, and he was patient through the process as we made changes. Aside from the most important factor in working with a pool builder, which is having a beautiful well-functioning pool at the end of the process, we greatly appreciated the fact that Shane made himself available to us from beginning to end and beyond. This is our second pool build and I can say from experience that this is not usually the case. We were happy with the end result of our first pool (built in another state), but the process was extremely stressful because it generally took days for our builder to get back with us. Shane always got back to us right away, often in less than an hour. No matter how big or small the question or issue, he took everything seriously and dealt with things personally and quickly. Overall, we love our pool and the experience building it was very low stress. Any type of building project will have some element of stress, but Shane does his best to keep it to a minimum. We highly recommend Capital Custom Pools, and Shane, to anyone who is in the market for a pool or spa!
