Bighorn Chalet Gatlinburg

We had a really fun time staying at Bighorn Chalet. The proximity to Gatlinburg and especially to Ober is nice. The drive to pigeon forge isnt bad either. The place is nice and comfortable. The views from the deck are so pretty in both the morning watching the sun rise over the mountains and in the evening as the sun sets and illuminates the mountains. The stairs can be tricky but the elevator worked so we used that when we needed to. There are doors to close the stairs off for little kids. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. The kids are already planning a return trip.

Our trip was made perfect by having such a beautiful, private place to stay! We had plenty of space for all sixteen of us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The drive up the mountain was beautiful and the chalet was 100% spotless upon arrival. The view from the large back porch is truly breathtaking, especially from the hot tub. Having an elevator to use instead of hauling luggage up and down the stairs is a huge perk! Plus, a Keurig in the master suites is a nice touch. The ample parking was great for our group and we loved how convenient it was to get to Ober Gatlinburg, downtown, and multiple hiking trails. Jennifer was so easy to communicate with before and during our stay. She ensured we had all of the info we needed and then some. We are already planning our next trip to the Smokey Mountains and will be staying here again!
