The room had an unpleasant smell the whole time, the service was not good at all, the bathroom had bugs in it, the balcony had a view of an empty parking lot, the AC was right next to the bed which caused us to be sick during our vacation and there was such a limited parking space for our car. Rooms: Bathroom was small and had bugs. Hotel room was stinking bad, AC position was bad, right next to bed.

This week (last week of March) the hotel is being renovated, so it is noisy, it smells like renovation and we had cold water shut off at us. Other than that the hotel is a regular cheap hotel, very-very basic, almost everything works in the room, furniture looks very tired. What definitely works in favor of the hotel is its location. Within 15 minutes drive there are multiple trail heads. You can also walk to a lot of places in Gatlinburg if you want to. The hotel has free parking and free breakfast. Nearby activities: Within 15-20 mins driving distance to a lot of trail heads. Walkability: Within walking distance to almost everything in Gatlinburg.

The location was good. Tub was dirty, most of the room was dirty. The worst part was that housekeeping did not practice standard hall etiquette, they were very loud. It was still early morning so if your looking for a quiet place to sleep in on your travels this is definitely not the place.

Our family chose to stay at this hotel specifically because our young child wanted an indoor pool on vacation. It was not communicated that the pool would closed for renovation prior to our arrival. When we arrived, I had to clean multiple cup rings off of the TV stand, night stand, and desk. On the second day of our stay, our room was not cleaned. My husband called the front desk simply to request clean towels and toilet paper. The desk told us no one would be available to bring the requested items to our room. The third day of our stay, our room still was not cleaned. My husband called back down to the desk and was told daily housekeeping is not offered. The hotel accommodations online lists daily housecleaning. This was our second stay at this hotel. Ive been very disappointed with the service here this stay. ETA: thank you for your response. My husband stated the renovation to the pool was not listed online at the time we booked our stay. I do see it is now. I also see that the website used to book states housekeeping- daily. We were not told at check in nor the first time we called regarding housekeeping that it needed to be scheduled.
