The Appy Lodge

We absolutely love staying here, rooms are super clean beds are comfortable, this last stay we had a issue in the indoor pool area, there was about 6 rowdy unsupervised boys throwing a football extremely hard and rough housing with absolutely no regard to the several other people and children that were in there trying to swim, several people were being hit with the football including young children. Please consider having some rules about footballs or other items that could injure a guest.

We absolutely love this place. Everything is wonderful from the rooms to the workers. Breakfast is really nice, and the evening cookies and lemonade was a hit for my group. The only down fall was the pool area dont get me wrong its a very nice area, but the kids throwing the ball ruined that for us. I know kids want to have fun, but there should be a rule in place you cant throw a ball indoors. The pool was packed out due to Spring Break, but those boys and their parents couldve cared less. They were hitting people with the ball even small children and nothing was done until several people complained. Appy Lodge please put a rule in place you cant throw balls in the pool. Thanks! Cant wait to return for another stay.

Beautiful hotel! Great staff, clean rooms. A couple things they could improve: A better variety of breakfast foods. Hot sausage and bacon would be nice! And the time the pool closes is 10! I think 11 is fair! Taking the trolly was fun and easy! Outdoor fireplaces were conveniently located and warm. Can't wait for another vacation in Tennessee next year! We will be staying here again for sure!

Just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg! Nice spot!

This is the second time stay here. It was at the first of March in 2023 and 2024 the room was great the staff is very help full. We definitely will recommend this place.
