DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYOur central A/C went out on our home's 1st floor.  My husband figured it was the motor.  We had a professional from Weidner come out on a Friday.  He was polite and on time.  This Weidner tech  said problem was motor which would cost minimum approx $600 to fix; or we might need to replace the whole unit for around $6,000.  Said he should be able to get me quotes by end of that day.  Monday morning no call back to me.  I called Weidner late on Mon and they said they were still trying to get the A/C manufacturer to give them quotes.  Tuesday no call from Weidner.  I called Weidner late afternoon Tues; got voice mail and left message asking what taking so long and for them to call me.  Wed. they finally called my husband and said they didn't even have quotes yet.  My husband told them to forget it at that point.  Weider had taken so long and given such slow service that we became afraid to use them.  Weidner was useless!  Goodness only knows how much they would have charged us if we had let them work on our system, nor how much longer it would have taken them to get the job done.  My husband made calls himself and based on the serial and model #s on our broken motor, he got a quote to buy a NEW replacement motor for $250.00.  We  now have to figure out some other way to get our A/C fixed.  I drove past Weidner's office and was very disheartened to see how run down their building and signage is; that does not give confidence in their business quality.

These folks are Crooks with a capital C.They over charged me by at least $2,000.00 and the work was so shoddy that after a year of getting very little heat/air upstairs and high energy bills I realized they had not sealed the duct work and all the heat/air was escaping down the basement. I had to do a makeshift repair my self.Stay as far away from this bunch as possible, or expect to be cheated in price and poor quality work.

Ok so I want to share a story on how great the technician is that came out to my home on a sat. My heating unit went yesterday so I opened up the verizon yellow pages and called the first ad under the heat heading, Weidner was the first and only call I needed to make. I told the woman on the phone that the first company  to get to my home gets the job. She said she understood and that she had a technician in the area. I said ok and 20 min later Mike the technician was in my driveway. He did his assessment and unfortunate for me I already new the outcome. Now remember its now sat after 5 p.m. With no heat in the house he said to me I will be back here  at 8 with a new heater from their warehouse. Mike was back at 745 with some assistance and didn't leave until 1130 when the job was complete and he was satisfied that his job was done right.All the time he was offered food and drinks but refused graciously . He not only did a great job on his sat night away from his family, he cleaned the area meticulously before he left with the old heater.Remember the tech is not the owner of this company but just an employee who could of signed me up and came back on Sunday to do the job.  I will tell everyone I know about my excellent experience with Weidner .  All I did was open the phone book and called the first ad. Man am I happy that Weidner was that call
