        My brother has been a patient at Caring Heart for many years. I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about this facility. The nursing care has been wonderful. The staff is attentive, patient and caring with the patients and the administration has always been helpful.

        My wife arrived their last Friday and has been glowing about the care she has been receiving, The facility is clean, doesnt smell and the rooms are nice, the only thing lacking is the food - could be better in her opinion..

        If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would. I would NEVER EVER recommend this facility to anyone. My mom is being switched from here because almost EVERYONE in this place has the most disgusting attitude Ive ever witnessed. My moms care was not a priority to anyone. She was constantly being antagonized and feeling like a burden to the people whose job is to tend to her. Barely 3 days staying here and she called me every single night crying because they were so rude to her. Then, when she mentioned it to someone higher up, the nurse was being even more rude about that and confronted her. Theres very little staff who actually deserve to have that job. I blame the facility for hiring these type of people. They dont deserve to be there. Also, the beds feel like stone and the tvs are no bigger than 10 inches . I carefully read the reviews and sadly trusted them and we were let down !

Boasting over 80 private rooms, this Philadelphia facility is conveniently located along Germantown Avenue. It’s location is central to public transportation and local business districts in Chestnut Hill while also a short distance from vast network of health systems providing renowned high quality care.Caring Heart has a proud and storied history. Formerly known as Sacred Heart Manor and founded by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, the facility opened in 1937, modernizing in 1957 and expanding again in 1997. The Carmelite Sisters provided compassionate care for the seniors in the neighboring communities until the facility changed ownership in 2009 becoming Caring Heart Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The team at Caring Heart is honored to continue to uphold their legacy by providing the highest quality of care to those in need.Caring Heart proudly offers Resident Centered Care as part of its Rapid Recovery Program. This program focuses on providing Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies in coordination with our skilled nursing care with the goal of returning patients to their highest level of independence. Residents and families may choose to remain for long term care. We are honored when a patient and their loved ones choose to call Caring Heart their home.A variety of dining options, recreational activities and comfortable lounge areas including a rooftop patio are available to make you stay as comfortable and home like as possible.
