Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

Excellent customer service at check-in. Hotel is under renovation, but desk clerk made us feel welcome and explained the situation. Elevator not usable at the moment, but the room and non-renovation areas were very clean and looked new. There is a heated indoor pool and hot tub that was clean and working, but difficult to get to with the renovation in process. Unfortunately, there was a car wreck that knocked out power in the area so we didn't have light to get to the pool. Bad luck this time I guess. Long story short, good friendly service, and very clean as of April 8, 2024.

Lobby closed for renovation, was checked in by a kind young man between the sliding doorsPool and hot tub are unavailable without notification of not being able to deliver on stated amenities. Newly renovated room was stifling hot, turned it down then to fan then to ac and Im still laying here sticky with sweat in April. Went to close the curtain and one side came apart. Attempted to heat water for tea for my kid with a sore throat and chunks of black and brown material came out of the water heater. Shower makes a puddle on bathroom floor around the edges of the closed sliding glass door pretty negative experience with the exception of the front desk clerk Will stay elsewhere in the future.

Overall, my experience was positive, and I appreciate the hospitality extended by your team. The comfort of my stay was commendable. The room was cozy, and I had a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delightful, offering a variety of delicious items to choose from. The front desk staff were welcoming and accommodating, with Mr. Antonio standing out for his exceptional service. He went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, which was greatly appreciated. However, I did notice that construction was underway during my stay, which may have contributed to some minor inconveniences. While the cleanliness of the facility was satisfactory, there was a slight odor in the hallways that could be improved upon. Nevertheless, I found the overall hygiene standards to be satisfactory and not alarming. One of the highlights of my stay was the proximity of the hotel to nearby food and gas joints, which was convenient and added value to my experience.
