Crowne Plaza Harrisburg-Hershey, an IHG Hotel

Location was convenient to downtown and the valet was really convenient. The room was fine, somewhat small and the AC was incredibly loud, the phone in the room was broken which doesnt matter a lot seeing as we have cell phones but it was just another thing. The elevator was making alot of noise so that made me somewhat uneasy. Overall it was an ok place to stay and the room was clean. Its just evident that it needs some upkeep. We did have breakfast in the restaurant one morning and the waiter seemed to be very flustered even though we were one of two parties there. The food was ok, but not worth the price in my opinion.

I would not recommend. Problems with the bathroom, door keys repeatedly not working, incredibly slow service.

The location is great but the furnitures are flimsy and looks very cheap. Hilton would have been better with a little less price. Walkability: You can walk to different offices and to the river park.

I arrived at midnight and the key system was broken. The hotel staff sent me up to four different rooms, with different keys, none of them worked. Finally, I left at 12:45am and got a room at the Hilton next door. The hotel was pretty rundown and they had no plan in place for a broken key machine. When I left, the staff had just left a voicemail for the day manager asking them to call them back. Seems risky to book this hotel, even though it is less expensive than the Hilton.
