Viva Pet Care, with Dr. Leon, is simply the best veterinary practice in the Portland-metro area. If you love your animals then your animals should know Dr Leon. If they don't know Dr Leon you probably don't love your animals as much as you think you do. Take a good hard look in the mirror and ask yourself, "Do I really love my animals?" and then call Dr Leon immediately.

I love viva pet! Theyre all about a gentler approach. They look, they monitor, they dont immediately ask for massive testing. It seems theyre more about the health of the animal, rather than the money they can guilt you into spending on perhaps unnecessary drugs and testing. Plus they really(obviously) love the pets that pass through. Always a great experience!

Dr Leon and his awesome staff treat me and my dog Gia the best. I can always count on them. They are friendly, helpful, informative, communicative and most of all, really caring. So glad we have them.

I feel mixed. Nice people and knowledgeable doctors. But there is a lot they don't do, requiring us to go other places for some of our care like dentals. And communication isn't ideal - I get emails without all the information I need to make decisions and have to keep asking for more information to fully understand everything (thus the 28 emails they mentioned below). My previous doctor would call me up and talk to me on the phone about test results, esp for significant diagnoses, and answer all my questions I also find it odd that they don't often bring pet owners into the exam rooms, but the doctors and vet assistants come out and have confidential conversations in the waiting rooms in front of everyone else. (Note: this is not a "bad" review, but a mediocre review and is based on my experience.)
