Dog went in walking on 4 legs. Went home walking on 3 legs. Took my dog in for an exam to see if theres anything they could do to help with my elderly dogs small limp hes has for about a year. During the exam Dr. Tammy Thompson was overly aggressive on my dogs knee (yelped loudly in pain) and ended up fully tearing the ligament and now he needs surgery to walk in 4 legs again. Avoid this vet at all costs. Used to love this location had been taking my dog here for years. Thompson had no remorse when I informed her she made my dogs injury worse. She doesnt care about your animals or do due diligence before the exams reading previous medical notes because shell ask you questions that she should have the answers to. Edit: this original exam my dog was taken in for an eye issue and his leg issue. Should be no surprise that Tammy also missed an eye tumor growing in my dogs eye because of an inadequate eye exam and my dog needed to lose one of his eye as well. This vet is full of malpractice. 9k in surgeries all because of this idiot vet.

Rarely does one enjoy a visit to the vet, be it owner or pet. Despite whatever the circumstances are, I'm always pleased to come to Forest Heights Veterinary Clinic. In particular, I am very impressed with Dr. Tomschin, who has from our first encounter always exhibited extreme attentiveness, patience, compassion, and professionalism. I trust her to take care of my pooch as if he were her own. The rest of the staff are also extremely kind and diligent, and while I try to keep vet visits to the minimum, I feel good knowing my dog is in good hands here.

Oh my where to start. Had been going here since 2019. Never stellar administration staff. Techs and Drs pretty good but I have never been inside, their rules, even pre pandemic despite 2 dogs being somewhat disabled and very anxious. Final blow came when I emailed to let them know one dog had passed and not only got no response (email I have used many times) but 2 weeks later they sent me a reminder that he was due for vaccination.

My family has been going here since it moved into the complex. We have taken ALL of our animals (Cats, Dogs, Hamster, etc.) here and have never had any concerns, problems, or issues with quality of care, office policies, cleanliness, professionalism and knowledge about animal care, etc. The staff is beyond amazing and very helpful. Everyone working in the clinic really takes TIME with and for you and your animal. They absolutely do not just run the animals through quickly - they allow the animal time to get comfortable or okay as can be at the vet, and most importantly, they take time to address any issues they find with your animal even if the appointment time runs over, etc. You really can just feel the love, care, patience, and compassion they have for animals. In addition, they have always had great and fair pricing - especially for this area! You never have to be concerned with surprise procedures, or vet bills they are honest to a fault!! and they are great about communicating about pricing and working together to figure out estimates of what you can expect for certain things. Overall, I would recommend them for your pet my family and I have lived in the area for 33 years, and SO many of our friends, clients/patients, etc., have spoken so highly of this Veterinary Clinic, especially in comparison to other Vets and negative experiences had before switching to FHVC. My most recent rescue is super sweet, but a wild devil child at times I sometimes think about dropping him off for a few hours at FHVC for my own sanity that is not actually a service they offer, but I trust they would completely to take care of him no matter what they have to do!
