As a first time home buyer (and a self employed person), I was definitely dreading the home buying process - that was until I met Shelley!!! Shelley really made it happen. We are in the house that is just right, all thanks to her. From narrowing down area/style of home, helping when our original lender wasnt working out, setting up appointments with inspection experts, communicating with the seller. And, of course, writing a competitive offer. She made sure that we were comfortable and well informed with every step of the process. As a first time buyer, we had so many questions and Shelley was so patient and knowledgeable. We could not thank her or recommend her enough!

Shelley Barr helped my husband and I sell our first home and purchase our dream home. We put our first house on the market during the Portland fires and we were unsure if anyone would come to see it. Shelley assured us during the open house that the staging was great, and that multiple people were confirmed. She was so fantastic at constantly reassuring us that we would sell. Shelley helped me buy my first home amidst an incredibly competitive and wild housing market. She taught me SO MUCH about what to look for in a house and her insights undoubtedly saved me thousands of dollars down the line. I really appreciated her dedication and attention to detail. She was a wealth of knowledge about the whole process, from getting an approval letter to writing a competitive offer. She was responsive, communicative, always in great spirits, extremely generous with her time. We toured so many places and could always count on her to guide us, even with not a lot of notice. We went with Shelley originally because she was the first realtor that we worked with who really respected our timeline and didn't make us feel pressured to buy immediately. When we were ready, she was there and always reliable. I could not have bought a house without her as my anchor and expert. I have the house of our dreams, alongside my partner!

We are moving from Indiana to Colorado & needed some referrals for realtors. Shelley did a wonderful job of finding great realtors not only in the places we were looking to move but in Indiana as well. We had an experience with a local realtor here who was, in our opinion, not competent so we had something from which to judge realtors. All of the realtors she found were top notch & we would definitely recommend her to anyone moving out of state as well as locally.
