We just had happy hour there and the food was good and priced right, the atmosphere was relaxing.

Be careful, look at your bill. I booked my room through IHG at one price, when I got there, I was charged another price, slightly higher, luckily I had a picture of my cost. Then once I checked out, I asked for a receipt, because I felt it was still high. Once I had time to look at it, they added a $55.00 Amenity Fee, when I asked what it was, they said it was for the in room water and snacks. I said we did not use that because it had a price sheet, I even took a picture of that before I left. Then they said Oregon considered this as room fee so they charged another $27. Portland Tax (which by the way is more than the tax for the room), plus another $4 for other tax for the amenitys, when I brought this up they said oh we were supposed to credit back $20. What??I didnt use any of the items. Then they also charged me $26.99 for an in room movie, that I never got. Oh there sorry they will refund that as well. So I was charged over $110. Extra on my bill. But they only refunded me $46.99. This does not include the raw salmon I had to pay $35. For that I could not eat. I will not be staying here again.

This place was the perfect location for our little vacation. We have a small dog that doesnt travel well but this hotel was quiet and calm which helped very much.
Location right on the water is super convenient and theres a few restaurants in the same complex/river front. Complimentary coffee in the mornings and a little happy hour in the evenings. Only gripe Parking is super expensive and I would bypass that by self parking which is basically in the same parking lot/garage for half the price.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable with the inly caveat being awkward decor. .massive leather headboard that takes up more space than it needs to and lamps that look like theyre going to fall over ..thats another conversation for another day. Overall it was a thumbs up for me.
Rooms: Rooms are spacious, plush, and comfortable. There are some things I would change such as the headboard that takes up way too much space and the awkward lamps that make it really hard to get in/out of bed.
Nearby activities: Museum and submarine across the river, waterfront park.
Walkability: Lots to see and do that are relatively close. Museum across the river if you dont mind walking medium to long distance. Right next to waterfront park.
Food & drinks: Theres a restaurant on the main level with nice outdoor seating overlooking the river and walking path. Theres also several restaurants with in walking distance.
Complimentary coffee in the mornings and happy hour in evenings.
