Alex and his team at Western Oregon Builders are just the best. We feel so lucky to have been able to hire them to fix our home. They are not only reliable and honest, they are genuinely good people who want to do good work. They have made us feel like part of their family, and we could not ask for more than that from our contractor. Very disappointed in this company. Had their representative Jeremy over to give me a quote on a remodel to include a new bathroom. He was very excited about the project, said they could start in 2 -3 months and he offered numerous suggestions for making the project better. He invited me to stop by the office to discuss the bid and pick out tiles and items for the bathroom. HOWEVER...15 minutes before the appointment at the office he called and said the bid was not ready. He had no idea what the project would estimate at and declared that they would not be able to even think about this project for at least two years. Totally blew me off. I asked him to send me an estimate and I have never heard back from him. This company in my opinion is unprofessional, lying, dishonest, untrustworthy and one to be avoided at all costs. And your reply puts all of your excuses as my fault which shows how unprofessional you are. You stated you could start this project within 6 months. You came by and inspected the property. I was ready to commit to the project. Yet you now say it's an "unprecedented time? If you are not able to do the work why are you going out and trying to find more work? You wasted my time. Start taking responsibility for your actions and be responsible and professional.

I had Western Oregon Builders (WOB) build an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) on my property in Vancouver, that completed in spring 2019. They did an outstanding job on the build, were easy to work with, had very competitive prices, and have offered exemplary customer service even after the build has completed. They made the process super simple by helping with the design, material selection, project management, and procurement. WOB’s owner’s sister and her husband specialize in ADU design (with R&B Design Studio), and the two companies worked well together to deliver on an end product. Another bonus to doing business with WOB is their ability to coordinate all the pieces together for a smooth build, which is helpful as a working professional. I would highly recommend on any Construction project. Thank you, Alex, and the WOB team for all your hard work.

Amazing job all the way around. We built an ADU attached to our main home. Its a huge undertaking, starting from the architectural aspect all the way to completion. Beate is the architect and Alex the builder. Brother/sister team. I would not recommend doing it any other way, or with any other company. You cannot imagine all of the moving parts, they walked us through it seamlessly. Starting with design, permitting, construction, they handled it all. We are so pleased with the entire project that we are looking at another build with them. My wife has a designers eye, details matter. Everyone on the project worked closely with her ensuring all her needs were met. Things change along the way, they pivot so that our build is exactly what we envisioned. Alex and the team are professional and work very hard, regardless of the conditions! We broke ground in October, they worked through the winter! Great company, you cannot go wrong working with them!
