I had some good positive health care experiences with Dr. Baum many years ago and some fairly negative experiences with Dr Kates-Chinoy in the more recent past. Simply put, I was not handled with care. There was just so little care. It was a disheartening experience and I would never go back there again. Peace.

Supposed to be focused on natural healing but make you wear a mask to enter the building still.

Grain Integrative was there for me when I was at my lowest. Dr. Ashly Benson is the most dedicated doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was in her care for about 4-5 years; they were the best. She supported me holistically by concentrating on establishing a bond with her patients - for me, it was bicycling and philosophy. She was a familiar soul while I was lost wandering my path. I can't believe the number of items we could address internally and externally. I left Grain as an entirely different person, and Dr. Benson remained dedicated to me until I had to move out of the area. She single-handedly wholly changed my relationship with medical professionals and taught me to trust the individuals here to help me. Thanks to her, I can now trust others who care for me. I can't express how fortunate I am to have been recommended to Grain and placed under Dr. Benson's care. She was there for me, supporting me through everything and doing her absolute bestway more than any physician I have ever met. I'm still blown away by the progress we made together, and I hope to check in with her one day on the other side. It is my expectation that Grain and Dr. Benson will go down as my favorite practice and doctor of my life. Her dedication is unrivaled. Thank you so much!

They'll cut you off vital meds if you can't afford an appointment. I've taken a mood stabilizer and anti depressant for literally years but in the last 6 months since I haven't been able to afford the ridiculous insurance premiums they have been refusing to fill medications for me. They charged me nearly 300 dollars for a 20 minute telehealth appointment with a resident and still won't refill my meds just three months later. I will be off my meds because I cannot afford the extortion they are charging just to renew prescriptions for conditions that are lifelong and incurable. It is utterly exhausting to fight mental illness, know what meds you need, but be unable to get them because your doctors office is far more concerned with seeing you as just another way to make money. I'm going to see about getting meds online. It is flat out dangerous and cruel to force people off of mood stabilizers for such arbitrary reasons.

It's taken me a while to write this review because it was such a triggering experience for me. Long story short, I was seeing Dr. Ashly Benson for over a year and was really enjoying building a relationship with her, as we worked on healing my chronic health issues together. However, when she referred me to see Dr. Lee Poe at Sunnyside Collaborative Care to help with the chronic pain I was experiencing, I had an awful experience of being sexualized by him during our visit. I wrote him a letter letting him know how he made me feel and [obviously] never went back to see him. Instead of having my provider (Ashly) help repair this rupture in our doctor/patient relationship, she had the clinic email me to let me know I could no longer be seen at this clinic because of her relationship with Dr. Lee Poe. So, not only did I have to go through a horrible experience under her referral, but I also lost my primary care doctor. I know that blaming women/the victim is pretty standard in our culture, but I was very surprised to experience that in this setting. If the clinic wants to reach out and make this right, I'm here for it, but I do feel it's important to warn other people and that is why I'm choosing to write this review.
