I have never written a review but today is the day. Our tile was purchased from Baptista based on a sample product they had in their store. When the tile arrived, it was significantly different. Baptista agreed with us that it was different enough to be outside the normal stone variation. They asked the manufacturer to return the material and waive the restocking fee of 25%. The manufacturer refused. Instead of Baptista taking the responsibility of having a sample board that did not represent the manufacturers product and give us our money back, they charged us half the restocking fee. It wasnt clear to us what we had done wrong at this point and why we had a financial burden fall on us when all we did was buy a tile from them that didnt end up being what we and Baptista thought it was going to be. After this, It didnt feel like they had our back. I wouldnt go back because if a situation like this would happen again, we would be charged for it.
