Holiday Edgewood Downs

My father-in-law moved there several months ago. His space is incredible and I keep saying I'm going to move in with him. The setting is terrific and the amount of amenities is impressive. He had been in another retirement community previously and you can't even compare. Edgewood down is better in every possible way.

I am a temp worker been here for over a week and the kitchen help and management are awesome... they are helpful and have a organized routine that gets service out to everyone in a timely manor safely and sanitized... I have never seen management help with serving anywhere else I've worked, but here their working in the kitchen or doing dishes or serving food. Here everyone helps out and they have a smile on there face while doing it, it feels they are like a family working together. Love working here and the good people that I've met here.

Worked here and the management and staff were extremely rude and negligent from the first moment. Didn't give clear instructions on what to do and then were condescending and rude after not giving instructions. I'm experienced in this work and know what I'm doing. They talk down to you even if you know more than them. Seems like people are afraid to lose their jobs. The cook and kitchen help are nice, but the hostile management ruins it. The responses trying to excuse or evade the fact that this kitchen shouldn't be serving food in its current state or that you are mistreating employees is sad.

Has all the amenities you could want. Or should say there for you. Golfing ??? Great place to call home, IF You have the Finances????? ( than one IRA, etc. )
