Such a great place to live! The apartment is spacious and whenever there has been any issues maintenance has resolved them quickly.

Welcome to luxury living at Somerset Apartments. Just kidding, this place is an absolute dump. The apartment complex is 20+ years old, has been poorly maintained and not safe as you can see from photos. My windows dont shut as theyre swollen and rotting, I could pop the window out if I pushed hard enough. The stairs which are the only means of egress are rusted/rotting. The apartment wasnt cleaned before properly I received occupancy(bathroom, floors, kitchen etc). The apartment was place filthy. Appliances are old/outdated and dont function properly. This is the furthest thing from luxury! Furthermore, the application fee was $500! This should have been my first red flag. I changed my mind the following morning and decided it wasnt a good fit but I was already locked in for a year with no way out of the lease. Again, another red flag. Clearly they cant effectively keep their tenants so they have to resort to using predatory practices. Deceptive and Unprofessional management, Ive never dealt with a more disgusting group. As Im signing the lease I was told that water, Internet and trash are going to be an additional $250 per month Super shady practices, avoid this place at all costs. Go down the street to the One Deerfield or The Grindstone Apartments as its the same price and you actually get to live in luxury.
