The rooms are huge! With a full kitchen and even a tv in the bedroom!
It was a very comfortable stay, they did have some unknown (to them too) construction going on that woke us up early both mornings of our stay. But they quickly compted, even before we were able to leave.
They really do care about their customer service and we really appreciated that

I found it hard that any hotel would have an almost perfect rating and then we stayed there for three nights and saw exactly why. I will always check to see if a Roost is available in my travels. The good and great is evident everywhere in these reviews so I wont rehash, what I will do is share my learning curve and some tips.
Definitely prebook parking. Event parking is seriously huge here if you dont and there always appears to be something going on. The parking is a little sneaky when you are parking as a prepaid you are a Private parker and not a Public a sign saying Roost parking would have been handy because the second screen reader is easy to overlook the first time. The parking is well worth it though as the garage is super secure and heated.
I would also suggest packing snacks and drinks there doesnt appear to be any vending machines or close convenience stores.
Last but definitely not least DONT use the other map application to get there it takes you to the wrong side of the building for the parking garage.

Walkability: Every where you want to be is within a couple of blocks downtown.

This was our first time staying here. It seems to be a pretty new hotel only around for a year or two. Our stay was fantastic, the building, rooms, everything was awesome and felt very upscale. The location was perfect, right across from the casino out your window and a couple minute walk to everything around you. Would for sure stay here again.

This is an absolutely beautiful, fresh, SUPER clean, quiet, spacious, classy hotel! We wanted to stay downtown and took a chance on ROOST, based on the excellent reviews. What a wonderful find! We had a private bedroom with huge walk-in closet, lovely super clean bathroom, and a spacious open-concept living room and kitchen complete with large-screen TV, comfy couch, chair and ottomans. The kitchen was better equipped than some AirBNB we've stayed in and had a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and coffee bean grinder -- how cool is that? The living room had super high ceilings and a wall of soaring windows that filled the room with light and made the whole space feel incredibly spacious. Our son was in Cleveland on business and our room was so inviting he chose to come visit with us in the mornings for coffee and hang out with us enjoying the cozy living room with us after work. Parking is under the hotel and while you have to pay for it, it feels safe and makes getting right to your room so easy. We called the front desk as we approached the hotel to figure out the parking and the attendant was kind enough to email us a link to the parking app so we could pay for parking, and get a QR code to get in. I would highly recommend you do the same as the parking situation can be a tad confusing and this helps make it less so. We would travel back to Cleveland just to stay in this lovely hotel!
Safety: The hotel's doors are locked at all times, requiring guest to use their room key to gain access. The parking garage is well-lit and elevators are easily accessible.
Walkability: Lots of great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Progressive Field and Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse are a short walk. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a 24 minute walk.

This place is really pretty amazing. A two minute walk from either the casino or the warehouse districts' clubs and restaurants. As you can see from the photos, this is a full-fledged, furnished apartment. Not shown are the giant picture windows overlooking downtown Cleveland. And the plants are real (Not sure why this impressed me more than the 12 ft ceilings... ).
Apparently there is a rooftop patio and a pretty nice workout facility available to guests, but our stay was unfortunately quick and we did not catch everything.
My impression is this is more of an apartment/condo complex doing an Airbnb type thing with unrented units and/or subletting for guests who do extended travel or something. It's an odd setup. But it works. And it works well.
The two employees I came in contact with were super friendly and helpful.
Price? Roughly $200 with taxes. Granted, this was off-season, but I challenge you to find a simple hotel room in downtown Cleveland for this price. Overnight parking can be had in a secure garage attached to the building. $40 per night, not sure what weekly or monthly rates are.
My one complaint is navigating the garage and the hotel is kind of an escape room challenge. I know they don't own the garage, but I can't imagine they couldn't throw a tasteful sign or two in there to help first timers. And it should be made very clear at check-in that where you enter the building will absolutely determine which rooms you can access.
Oh- If you have a high-end low to the ground sports car or a seven passenger SUV... You may be want to explore alternate parking.
