The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - a DoubleTree by Hilton

In the heart of the medicine places. About 5-miles from the ballpark/science center/Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It looks like a castle on the outside, and has modern touches on the inside. The showers were AWESOME. Cookies were really good. They have a restaurant/bar/grill too. We didn't do breakfast but they have it right there through the lobby. There are also food places close by.

Beautiful room. We got an upgrade! Parking close by and cheaper compare to other hotels in the area. Breakfast menu is with plenty of choices. There is sit down option and there is also a breakfast buffet. We did not have lunch or dinner here but menu looks inviting. Welcome cookie was tastefully delicious. If you are into architecture, this place will fascinate you!!!

We stayed here for the solar eclipse, so you can imagine how busy it was here! Despite that, the staff was incredibly friendly at all times - especially the woman who was bartending/waitressing on Monday evening, she is fantastic! Pros of this hotel: -Easy walking to CWRU, museums, and beautiful parks -Spacious rooms with large windows and great views. Our room didn't face downtown, but we were treated to a beautiful sunrise each morning. -Restaurant & bar on premise - a bit pricey but honestly not bad -Comfy bed (soft pillows - not my thing, but my boyfriend loved them) -Friendly staff who seems to genuinely want to make your stay nice -Parking lot (for a fee) -Digital key capability - you can tell they've made an effort to make some quality of life upgrades in the hotel and this is a great one! Cons: -Hotel rooms & restaurant are a bit dated, but that doesn't affect the quality -Only one elevator - we overheard someone say the other elevator has been broken for a year. This should be a priority for them to fix, as it was quite slow coming down from the 10th floor and making stops at every floor along the way -The bathroom vents behind the toilets are in desperate need of cleaning (however, they're not super visible, but they're a little scary once you see them) -Windows seem older and therefore traffic/outside noise is very audible -the hvac unit in our room blows directly onto the bed, which caused me to wake up sniffly each morning Overall, I'd recommend Tudor Arms if you're visiting CWRU or if you enjoy museums/parks, or just don't want to be located immediately downtown. Rooms: Rooms are spacious enough and clean Safety: We never felt unsafe walking around! Cleveland Clinic & Case Weztern security are very present in the area. Walkability: Easy walk to museums, parks, and Case Western University.
