Today I had the worst experience with a doctor that I have ever had in my life. I have been to this location multiple times in the past and have received satisfying care. However today I was treated unprofessionally by Dr. Bogli, and left the urgent care feeling gaslit and in tears.
I explained to him that Tuesday I had been so sick with the stomach flu, including a fever that lasted for close to 30 hours. I was overcome with fatigue, aches, headaches, and nausea for days. Thursday my nausea and other symptoms had subsided but I began to develop a sore throat and more aches. I explained to him that I had been drinking water, Pedialyte, and Gatorade as well as crackers, soup and bread since I had fallen ill on Tuesday - as this is not my first rodeo with the stomach flu. He said well your strep is negative. I told him that I figured it would be but that my throat was still really hurting when I swallow and had white patches in the back. He looked at my throat for 2 seconds and said Your throat is not infected. This must be from throwing up on Tuesday Then would stare at me without saying anything. He kept telling me you need to be drinking Gatorade have you been staying hydrated at all? After I had already explained to him that I was doing everything I could to stay hydrated. He then said well if youre nausea and and headaches have gone away it seems like youre doing better and just stared at me. He constantly was asking me to repeat my symptoms throughout the visit. I found this to be strange. I told him my throat and ears were hurting every time I swallowed, and that Advil and Tylenol have not eased the pain whatsoever. I told him That I did not have a persistent cough but that I have been coughing up mucus recently. He then asked me to repeat my symptoms again. I was so uncomfortable. It was as if he took nothing I said at face value. At the last 30 seconds of the visit he listened to my heart and checked 1 ear. He said youre really warm are you always this warm? Then made an odd face at me. I did not know how to respond to that, as he did not even take my temperature after saying that.
I told him that I have been feeling so terrible and achey for days and just want to feel relief. He put kept putting his hands in the air without really saying anything. He offered a cough medicine. And walked out of the door. I just sat there like what the heck just happened. Anytime I have ever been to this urgent care, I have been cared for and listened to, and the doctors or NP will say well I hope you start to feel better. This doctor suggested nothing to me but a cough medicine and walked right out the door. I have never written a review ever in my entire life but felt compelled to as I burst into tears the second I walked out that door from feeling so dismissed.

Staff was friendly and efficient and the wait was very short. Will recommend this urgent care from now on.

CareFirst Urgent Care - Hyde Park location was absolutely AMAZING! The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful! The front lobby was very clean, as well as the restroom. The nurse on duty took my blood pressure and was very pro-social during our first encounter. The Doctor on duty was very professional and cared about the reason I was there. She was empathetic and and sent through the prescription immediately; I was seen by the urgent care around closing time and made it in just enough time to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy. This place is totally awesome and I would grade them at an A+ Urgent care. I'm greatful for the care I received.
