    Seems like a surprise billing scam company. Many online complaints and complaints through the BBB have people saying the same number, they suddenly owe $888.00. This reeks of scam. It also reeks of scam since the statement says specifically to not call the hospital, but call a different number instead. The mailing address for the bill is in Chicago IL. This is also another red flag. Our insurance company stated they never received a claim from this company, and of course there is a note on the paper bill we received saying they sent it out to the insurance company far after the date of service by over 90 days, but nothing on what the insurance company covered. Surprise bill scam.

    Went in back in April and got my bill not long after. My insurance processed the bill and provided a substantial discount but it was not reflected on the bill I got. When I called them, they said they didn't have any insurance on file. I find that very odd since I gave it when I at the hospital and the bill was already processed by my insurance. . . The next month, same thing full bill that doesn't reflect my insurance discount so I provide it again. Next month, same thing again. This time I call my insurance company to have a 3-person call and my insurance even FAXed over all of the required document proving that they have processed it and I was eligible for the discount. This repeats every month until SEPTEMBER when I get a "Final Notice" and my bill has gone up! I call again and the person sees all of the required documentation and suggests I pay the remainder of the original balance after the insurance discount and I did. Every month for the next three months, I continue to get bills, a final notice, and the promise that this time "Everything is taken care of". Every time I call, the person on the other end blames this mysterious "processing department" for the error. But when I asked if we can get them on the phone, I always get "We don't have a number for you to reach them, even we don't have a direct line to them". If I follow the pattern that I have seen in the last 8 months, I will probably have to call about an incorrect bill again. If this ever gets resolved, I will post an update.
