Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has been an excellent care facility for my family member following hospitalization for a stroke. Their staff is professional, responsive, and caring. They have gone above and beyond expectations in offering the best care 24/7. Robin Miller, in the administration office, especially worked very hard to help us with complex paperwork related to transferring to long term care. Our family is very grateful to her and all the wonderful staff at Mill Creek N & R. I highly recommend them if you want top quality care for your loved one.

I am glad I have read more of these reviews. I have been trying for weeks to get my brother transferred to this facility. For two to 3 weeks the admissions talked to me and continued to ask me to call the next day or so to see if they had beds available. Then they promised he would be next in line to be admitted and they had a bed opening up the last day I called. But 3 days went by and they didnt call. So I called 4 times the following week and left messages; they didnt return the calls. So I wemt over on Friday afternoon and met with the business manager because the admissions lady had left. The lady said I am sorry she didnt reply but on Monday I promise we will be in touch. Nothing. No call back. I called and left message and still no call. I called twice today and it just goes to voicemail. So I have decided after seeing the outside of the building, experiencing NO SERVICE to my calls and all these reviews that I will not allow my brother to move here and be subjected to such unprofessional behavior.

ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE WRITTEN BY EMPLOYEES! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. No one should be subject to this facility. My mother was brought here, and was only here for 2 weeks and I could see how bad it was on day 1. First you walk in and it's filthy, they only "clean" like once a week. 2. They refused to give my mother a shower or a bath or anything like that, she couldn't brush her teeth, couldn't do anything (at the time my mother was completely bed ridden due to multiple fractures to her pelvic bone and spine). 3. They wouldn't give her all her PRESCRIBED meds, and would get mad at her when she would ask for her actual meds or ask which meds they were trying to give her. They got to the point that they would just drop the pills in her room and walk out without acknowledging her. 4. Before her catheter was removed, no one would empty the urine bag, it got so bad it was overfilling into the tube and I was having to empty the bag myself when I would go and visit (which was every single day). Once the catheter was removed, they would not respond to calls to help her go to the bathroom so she would end up laying in pee and other stuff until I could get there at the end of the day and help her to the bathroom. CAN YOU BELIEVE I'M NOT DONE! There was only 3 decent people in the building, the receptionist, the weekend nurse (who was run ragged) and the girl that handed cigarette breaks. I contacted Megan, the manager over the CNA's and the nurses and spoke to her about my concerns on many occasions, she informed me my bother was supposed to get a shower every Tuesday and Thursday, she got one shower the DAY I contacted her and then another the week after when I contacted her again. I told her of my concerns and she truly just didn't care, they just wanted to avoid a lawsuit. While I was there I spoke to many other residents to find out that they HAD NOT had showers or baths in MONTHS! There was one woman who wheeled herself to the shower doors and sat there for 6 hours waiting for someone to assist her and none of them even acknowledged her. I had a meeting with Megan and still nothing changed, 2 days after the meeting my mother was taken to the hospital with pneumonia that was caught, not by a nurse or CNA during meds, but by the physical therapist who then called for an ambulance because none of the nurses or CNA's would. She was taken at 10 am and by 3 pm, Megan (THE MANAGER) still hadn't called myself or my dad, and actually had no idea she was even taken to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital she had found out that she had contracted the rotavirus from the facility, WHICH COMES FROM FECES BEING IN YOUR FOOD! If you love your person, DO NOT LET THEM GO HERE! They do not care if they are taken care of, the call light times are outrageous and all they care about is receiving a paycheck. This place should be shut down in a freaking heart beat!
