The NASTIEST ATTITUDES I have ever encountered in a store. I went in yesterday on a Sunday and brought in 4 bags of clothes that no longer fit me. The wait was told to be 45-1 hour and it ended up being almost 3 hours ( I was fine with this because it was a weekend and I did bring in a lot). I went in just to ask about an estimated time since it was taking longer than expected and the one employee that told me another 30-1 hour was very nice but after that everyone else was nasty. I lingered around the front counter after hearing multiple comments being made about myself and the things I brought in. Multiple times it was brought up about how many bags I brought in and how was I going to ask how long it was going to be when I brought in 4 bags (it is your job??). Comments were made about my clothing and things along the lines of was someone this broke they had to bring in certain types of clothing in certain positions to try to get money, why was I still wearing certain things and owning them, all the while these clothes are being held up in the air and they are talking as loud as they can making fun of my things. It was funny when I asked when the buy would be done is when the girl pulled them out to start pricing what they would take and she threw things back out of the bin that were originally taken making fun of the person who did the buy saying they needed to do better at the things they took laughing at my clothing once more and not pricing things that were originally taken to buy. Keep in mind I brought in Lululemon, Abercrombie, Free people, vestique, American eagle, urban outfitters, etc ( all nice trendy clothing I just cant fit anymore). I will never be back to this location this was ridiculous and I also wasnt given the $5 voucher coupons for selling 2 pairs of shoes. Do better and hire better people or train better. I am one person who has never left a review of these sorts or been a rude customer and tell them to quiet down talking about customers and greet people and interact with people like it isnt a chore to be working at a place you applied to work at.

Every time I go in here, the girls working have the absolute worst attitude. Walked up to one staff member today to ask her a quick question about split payments. She made it VERY evident through her facial expressions, body language, and tone that she felt I was inconveniencing her by making her glance up from her phone to, God forbid, make her do her job. I'm always astounded by how rude the staff is here, but today really did it for me. It's not hard to just not work in customer service if you don't want to service the customer. Crazy concept, I know. Will be shopping at Uptown or Style Encore from now on.

yeah idk if the quality of items they want has gone down over the last few years but they take such torn up, ugly, weird pieces of clothing over quality stuff each time i try to sell. Then, they take like 2 things but took 2 hours to go through my small box. Im really not trying to complain but its literally insane that they took a pair of vans clearly painted on, but not a pair ive worn once. Target is a nice brand and they discriminate against it. They say they take brands like urban, zara, american eagle, etc, but then most of their racks are filled with shein and anytime I walk into platos closet it usually smells like someone pooped in one of the corners.

I brought some really nice clothes and shoes to try and sell I come in drop it off it gets ready a hour and a half later I stand in line for 30 minutes because they only have one register open and theres about 3/4 other girls just standing around. That was the first thing that pissed me off, well she tells me shes gonna take 5/6 things I brought in for 70 dollars. Mind you I brought it a brand new pair of doc martens, two oh Polly dresses one new with tags on and one never worn in the box, a brand new puffer jacket with the tag that says 90 dollars on it and a Aerie sweatshirt. How do you get 70 dollars for that??? First of all Im not giving away 500 hundred dollars of stuff for 70 dollars. The girl was extremely rude to me when I asked her how they price there buys and she said its half the original price and her system told her 30 dollars for one of the dresses. Those dresses them selves brand new are 120 dollars. Please make this make sense. I told her no Im not selling them then and she Rudely shoved my stuff back in my bag and was smart with me. Platos you need better works not the first time this has happened to me.
