1910 Eastwood Rd. First Citizens Branch Wilmington NC: I had to give a one star because I had to in order to post but I would say ZERO. Never been treated so poorly after years of going to the same branch. Usually walk in and everyone is friendly. Is familiar with me. They were not able to process my check like I had been doing for years and was given the third degree like it was the first time I had walked in the bank after going there for years and working right next door. Same exact circumstances as every check. I have taken every paycheck I have ever had and done the same thing with it for years. The "manager" was brought out and I was questioned about my check and about who I thought I knew at the bank. Talked down to and treated like a suspicious person. The "manager" and the teller kept whispering over by the computer as they looked up my history and accounts asking how many accounts we had etc... We have over 8 accounts there and I am seriously considering never going back. Many of which we opened at that exact branch. The manager had only been there a year and I have never been treated so rudely in my whole life. I am only thankful more people were not in the bank at the time since she chose to embarrass me and my husband while we stood in the bank lobby at the counter. When I said I was thinking of finding another bank she sarcastically asked if I would like my $10,000 check back! We originally chose First Citizens all of those years ago because they were a local/regional bank that did not treat you like a number. I am sorry to say we were treated worse than a number today and I truly don't feel like ever stepping in that bank again. Never been made to feel so small and like I did not belong there. It used to be a great branch. No longer. The worst experience at a bank I have ever had.

Recently moved to the area from several states away. My circumstances were complex, because I had just graduated a doctoral program and there were many moving pieces. David Smith worked tirelessly to secure a home loan for my family and was always available to answer my questions. Home buying is a stressful process but David and First Citizens really took care of me. Thank you!

The ATM constantly has issues where it wont accept cash, its absolutely ridiculous

We have been working with First Citizens for a long time and have NEVER received good treatment from the account managers. Short tempered and rude.
