My family and I used to find it very easy to bank with Excite, but as of recent theyve made it a difficult process. A few months ago during my last semester of Community College, they were very obliged to cash in my refund checks with no issue. As of today, a woman at the front desk that I dont usually see, did not WANT to cash in the checks I have recieved, and instead told me and my mother that I (a college student without steady income at the moment) needed to make an account with them in order for my checks to be cashed. She decided not to cash them, (the nice woman beside her was busy at the moment, shes usually the one I bring my checks to), and sent us to a nearby Truist Bank, where they collected an 8 dollar fee from my checks. Im not too sure what changed, but it was highly unexpected and unappreciated.

Somehow Excite Credit Union got my email address and now they won't stop spamming me with someone else's banking information. I have never been to their bank and do not even live in a state where they operate. The first time that I got an Excite Credit Union email, I called them and they said it was an input error and that they had removed me from their system. But I still keep getting their spam emails (it has been months now). When I call now they say that I'm not in their system. Obviously that is wrong because they keep spamming me with someone else's loan and banking information. I have also emailed them several times. Be careful about giving them your email address. *UPDATE: Excite Credit Union replied below and you can tell that they just pasted in a standard response. They didn't even read my review or they would know that I have already called and emailed several times. They still continue to email me another person's personal banking information. They do this on a regular basis.

Excite has been a been an awesome credit union and their care and thoughtful customer service is top notch. We were out of town on vacation and I get a service call to make sure the purchases on my account were made my me. This is the kind of service that stands out to me, thank you Jonathan for the call and for the excellent customer service!
