Recently I dropped off four pairs of pants for alterations with the only necessary change to the pants was to move the hem up equal to length of original hem. I came back a week later, picked up and took them home. Upon arriving home, I realized that the pants had not been hemmed nor had they been pressed, so I immediately called the store. I was told to bring them in the next day and that pressing was now an additional cost. I wasnt told that when I dropped off initially but was offered a free pressing since Id had to bring the pants back in. I get a call the next day telling me that I was wrong and that the pants had been altered (even though when I tried them on, they were exactly the same length as when Id dropped them off) and theyd be charging me at least half the original price again and would be another week. Needless to say, I wont be back and am sad, because it used to be a great little shop! Service: Alterations

I dropped off a jumpsuit in November to be dry cleaned. I picked up the jumpsuit in December. I left the jumpsuit in the plastic wrap up until this past weekend when I had a wedding to attend. When I unwrapped the jumpsuit, the top portion had holes everywhere and the sleeve was coming unraveled (the top was lace). The jumpsuit is ruined. I called today at 8:34am to voice my complaint and let them know I was unhappy. I wasn't expecting anything but thought they should be aware of the problem. I was told that I would get a call back in 10 minutes. At 11:30, I called the cleaners back b/c I had not received a call. I was told that I could take my outfit to the expert cleaner in Wake Forest and the expert could look at it for me but other than that there was nothing that I could do. I told her the least that could be done was to refund me the $11 it cost to have the jumpsuit dry cleaned. She said no and then hung up on me. I attempted to call back with a different solution and called several times from my phone number and my phone call would not be answered. I finally called from my office phone, and what do you know, my phone call was answered! I told the lady that I had found a solution, can I drop off the jumpsuit with you facility (that is where I originally dropped it off) and could you get it to the expert. The lady told me that it would take too long and basically they would not do it. I told her that I would never bring anything back there again to get cleaned. She said ok and hung up. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING HERE. I was not necessarily looking for anything or refund for my jumpsuit being ruined but was looking for better customer service than I received.
