I Absolutely love going here for all my car needs. Unexpected car troubles the other day and went straight there. They were booked but managed to get me in and everything done. Kathleen and Jason always go beyond for the customers to make sure each of us are happy. Ive been going to this particular store for 25 years now and will continue to go.

Im never one to write reviews but this one is definitely necessary. I originally took my car to Colony tire in new bern on April 2023. At that time my car had the check engine light on for a couple of days and had an oil leak, I went in dropped my car off and they repaired it I use that term very lightly. It was for the leak repairing the housing unit. I paid nearly $800 to have my issue fixed. 2 weeks later, my cars check engine light came back on. I took it back in and they said that the housing unit they had replaced had been faulty so they ordered a new one and scheduled me for a replacement once again I dropped my car off to find out they werent even able to work on my vehicle and from there getting rescheduled again then they replaced the unit again, with a faulty housing unit for the second time! Weird how that happens. Forgot to mention BOTH TIMES they attempted to fix my car my check engine light came back on literally within the hour after pick up After the 3rd time of the problem still persisting I spoke with the general manager Jason and asked him if they could just pay for my car to be serviced at another auto body shop because it didnt seem like they really knew what they were doing since after three attempts at fixing the same issue the issue still exist. He said no they dont do that. And the only solution he offered was to keep having his people TRY to fix my car. I took my car back and forth to Colony Tire for well over 6 MONTHS with no resolution of my vehicle. It honestly seems like they just erased the code and called it a day. The last visit I had with Colony the GM called me to inform me that something in my car had gotten cracked. And the ONLY PEOPLE WHO SERVICED MY CAR WAS THEM. I told him that and he basically gaslighted me and told me he doesnt know how that couldve happened. So its now 2024, Check engine light is still on. Oil is once again still leaking and car never got fixed. Its really disappointing because i honestly feel robbed. I paid to get an issue fixed that was not cheap. I missed days of work, I got late to work to accommodate them to get my vehicle serviced they rescheduled me multiple times last minute , just overall a really bad experience. and vehicle is still messed up. Now my vehicle is in worse shape with a code reading that its misfiring & shaking and Im wholeheartedly convinced that the issue I have now , stemmed from the same issue I had last year because the check engine light never turned off, THEY NEVER FIXED MY VEHICLE JUST STOLE MY MONEY. So do yourself a favor and DO NOT come here, cause your car will probably end up way worse than when you take it in. Take it from my experience!

My go-to shop. They always do good work at a fair price. Recently, my car wouldnt start on multiple occasions so I got the battery tested at Advance Auto Parts. They told me the battery was fine and the alternator was bad, which surprised me, but I booked an alternator change at Colony anyway. Colony ordered me the alternator and scheduled my appointment. When I dropped the car off, I asked them to please do their own test to confirm that the alternator was bad before replacing it. Well guess what, they called and told me it was the battery and not the alternator. They didnt have to do that, they could have taken the $600+ and I would have never known the difference. Instead, they were honest with me and saved me a lot of money.
