Radisson Hotel Charlotte Airport

I had the best experience on the phone with Anthony Moore at the front desk. I was in quite a pickle trying to book a room for a friend who was stranded at the Charlotte airport and he made it happen. Anthony was so kind and patient and really helped me out of a jam. He even thought to book the early morning shuttle ride back to the airport (4:45am!!!). Thank you, Anthony! You showed this city gal some true Southern hospitality!

First impression, this is tired looking, in a slummy part of town. It shares a parking lot with another hotel and pretty run down gentlemens club. Only reason I rented the room as it was close to the airport and I was only in town for 2 days for work. When I checked into my room-the bathroom lights didn't turn on at all. so they switched me rooms. Its was okay- nothing special. You had what you need a bed and restroom. I noticed things that would be simple to fix (tiles missing from elevator floor, no ice machine on the second floor) - It was suggested to me that I don't do any walking around after dark (which I took seriously). I uberred everywhere. If I return to Charlotte I will likely stay at a better hotel in Uptown. Learned my lesson here.

Tried to go here twice but they overbooked and canceled on us. One time a few days in advance, the other time they canceled our night the same day of with no warning. The third time we finally got a room, the service was one of the worst Ive experienced. With the disgusting rooms on top of it, I dont think this is the right choice.

Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. Staff wasn't respectful and didn't seem to cared about the customers. The hot water was broken the entire 3 days we were staying there and they refused to accommodate customers about it stating we could've just left to go somewhere else. Will definitely choose a different hotel and branch next time.
