Watkins Motel

We arrived only because we had to stop due to extreme fog and snow and it was lateperiod. We know what the price of the hotel should be and pro a $125 The lamps were broken, the TV remote is broken. And the landlord owner knocked on my 75-year-old dad on our door....at 9pm to just say hi???? 9pm?!!! Everything is weird down to the fact that even a stranger accidentally. I guess I hope just walked into our room and scared us. Stay away from this hotel!!!!

Horrible customer service. We had an emergency come up and needed to cancel 5 days prior to our stay. While the policy does state that cancellations need to be made within 7 days how do you plan an emergency?? Thats right you dont. I was charged the entire cost for my room which is completely unheard of to me. I mean Im not staying at the Ritz Carlton here people. As someone who frequents the Finger Lakes often, I would never recommend this motel to anyone. Its costs absolutely nothing to be kind and compassionate and this establishment showed neither.

We stopped here on our way to Vermont. I made the reservation a day before we arrived. Mrs. Hong was very attentive and helpful. The hotel was in a great location. We could walk to downtown and Watkins State Park. The room was a little small/crowded, but just perfect for us. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

NGL, when someone says motel, there's a certain level of expectation on what you'll get. Centrally located within walking distance of Watkins Glen State Park, and various restaurants in the area, this motel was a pleasant surprise! The room was cozy, and had all the amenities we needed covered. Our room also had a microwave and fridge which was really helpful for leftovers. The bathroom was well-appointed with a lot of towels, shampoo, body wash, and soap. If we come back here, we'd gladly stay at this motel again!
