Idlwilde Inn

The Inn was beautiful with all the detailed touches one could ask for. We enjoyed all the personal attention and welcoming warmth from Marcus and his wife. The breakfasts are to die for and a real treat both in flavor and presentation. We will most certainly be coming back. This is an experience you do not want to miss out on!

We loved the place, Clean and Polite, breakfast was wonderful each day, and different. We can not wait to come back to Watkins Glen again and stay at the Idlwilde Inn .

My husband and stayed here this past weekend for our anniversary, this Victorian mansion is absolutely stunning! The grounds and the adorable gazebo so quaint, we brought our dog Pinot and stayed at the pet friendly carriage house on the grounds, the bed was very comfortable and there was a coffee station in the carriage house! Were early risers so we appreciated the attention to detail , there is 2 window seats in our room with a view of the inn, grounds, and lake. Elin was a gracious hostess making sure we were comfortable, we would definitely stay here again and recommend to other B&B enthusiasts, I appreciate the character of Victorian houses, and this place has so much beauty and character!!The location is really central to everything! Thank you Elin and staff for making our stay special!

Marcus and Elin are fabulous hosts. This mansion was a perfect getaway location. We were greeted upon arrival and our special dietary requests were graciously honored for breakfast. We loved our room (#8) and the porch provided a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. We were close to so many sightseeing locations but couldnt wait to return to this home away from home!
