Please be kind to yourself at this crucial time in your life and go somewhere else to get help. Methadone outpatients should have the freedom to make informed decisions about their treatment without feeling coerced or pressured by clinic staff, but that doesn't happen here. My experience at Helio Health has shown me that the regular withholding of access to methadone is used as a form of
punishment, putting me and others at risk for a multitude of negative outcomes. There are no other systems in society in which people with a medical condition are at constant risk of being pulled off their medication and forced into withdrawal. This is a violation of human rights and the Hippocratic oath. The doctor and certain staff members at Helio Health have created a culture of cruelty, suspicion, and antagonism in which patients are guilty until proven innocent.

The staff is amazing. At least in Utica they are. We have a very dicey way of treating addiction in Utica, but Helio isnt lacking in the slightest. These people truly care and do incredible work
