I remember going here when I was 17 years old. I had no protection being a minor. I was harassed on The daily by the women and man that was receiving treatment there. Yes it was an in - patient program. Can you see my point. Any good I was kicked out because I was disturbing the residents from their morning routine because I was cleaning my nasal passages and gargling which they didn't appreciate. Remember I am only 17 years old a minor with no supervision around a whole bunch of strange adults who taunted me. Mind you I was only there because Job corps found out that I smoked a little marijuana and told me to lie and say that I was an alcoholic in order to get to this program so I wouldn't get kicked out of Job corps in fact that actually put me in danger but I never said anything because I was too afraid. You know adults need to stop doing this to children and minors they should have got in contact with my parents but now they know the truth . And I don't do retaliation because I believe in karma. I am now 39 years old and I'm pretty sure that they've received their.

Programming was wonderful, however there was a client who started multiple physical altercations on camera, used homophobic hate speech, and intimidation tactics and admin chose to keep her in the facility in spite of their zero-tolerance policy. I had to leave early because of how unsafe I felt.

Amy the psychiatrist is extremely condescending and rude. She also alters medications without consulting patients beforehand. Dr muantwalli is pretty much totally inaccessible and you will likely wait 2-3 weeks before she responds to a sick call or a medication concern. The only people keeping this place alive are counselors Gary and Maurice, give them a raise and fire the rest. I am reluctant to even call Mcpike an addiction treatment center, rather a glorified prison that wants your insurance money and nothing more.

The cleaning crew partakes in relationships with the addicts. They make out and do other things in the staircases. On multiple occasions. Neglectful facility
