Worse experience dealing with the admissions team: Amanda Kaiser and Beth Algez. Called and left voicemails 3 days in a row with no return call. All I wanted to know was if they received referral documents for a lateral transfer for rehab. If this is how their admissions work, I cant imagine the care and attention any loved ones would get from this facility. Terrible customer service and would never send a loved one here!

Update 2024: Our family member lived here in the Cottages for over 3 years until he recently passed. It was the best possible experience for him at a difficult time in his life. The care he got was really stellar. During his years here he NEVER contracted one single infectious disease, even during the entire COVID pandemic. No colds, nothing. Not what anyone expects for a 90 plus year old living in a nursing home. Of course I cant guarantee that for anyone else, but that is our testimony regarding his experience in this environment. Original post from 2021: Our family member has received excellent care here, and I really cant say enough about the experience of living in the Cottages. They feel very much like assisted living inside, really nothing like a nursing home. We have been engaged with this organization for 5 months, and they truly care about their residents. The communication has been consistently stellar, and I am now completely confident that we will always get a phone call if anything concerns arise.

My aunt has been a resident for 2 years. She has had nothing but excellent care. The staff is so dedicated ~ you will not find a better facility!

They dont even deserve one star!!! This is the worst place to ever leave your loved one. My mother was there for rehab. She was mistreated, mishandled and as she put it thrown into her bed from the chair like cattle. She came home full of open wound sores and from her toes to her arms, so swollen, leaking and ended up going into the hospital as soon as she left the Jewish Home and she was on iv antibiotics for 2 weeks and then never came out if a wheelchair. She never recovered and later died at home with hospice. No matter how many times my sister begged them to get her a Dr to look at her bruises, she was ignored. Each time my mother called me to say how rough the staff was with her, I called and nobody, not even the administrator had the audacity to call me back. This place should be shut down. They are irresponsible and unprofessional and extremely nasty!! Id post pictures how she looked the day she left but they are so grotesque out of respect for her memory, I will refrain from doing so.
